Can someone please explain the second part of this sentence (in the "Tip" box of the lesson)? I'm not clear what "...and not regardless of which, like with verbs such as..." part of the sentence means.
You won't use this in Indirect Speech where whether = if and not regardless of which, like with verbs such as se demander (to wonder) or savoir (to know).
In the sentence: "We brushed our hair", should we write "Nous nous sommes brossé les cheveux" or "Nous nous sommes brossés les cheveux", please? Thank you.
I have seen the use of "si que possible" instead of "si c'est possible". what is the difference?
This is more a comment than a question. I found this to be a difficult exercise. For one thing, the vocabulary is not taught in a typical French class. Words like laptop, headline, online etc are useful to know but not common. Also, there were so many ways to say the same thing. Sometimes the answers included alternate responses, sometimes not. I was taught (and use) "les nouvelles" for the news. I have never seen "les infos" before this exercise.
salut! Dans la paragraph dessus, j'ai vu le présent soudainement tandis que les reste des phrases sont en plus que parfait ou le passe composé. vous pouvez exprimez cette difference merci
Just as an aside - I find this lesson format (the line by line parsing of the little story) really great from a learning perspective!
I put in (for "I wear warm clothes") "Je porte des habits chauds,". It corrected me with "Je m'habille chaudement". However, I saw in the possible answers there was "Je mets des habits chauds". Is the object ("habits ou vêtements) dependent on the verb ("porter ou mettre)?
Is there any difference between traîneau and luge?
Why we don't use " nous apprenons des mots de Pâques "? It can be translated as we learn some Easter words as I understand. Can you explain this to me please? Thank you!
