I noticed that the adjectives and adverbs agree with le plus/le moins, all used were masculine. Is this so?

Should “J’entendais un monstre” translate to “I heard a monster“ as opposed to “I would hear a monster”?
In the sentence, "Elle a été très impressionnée" we used passe compose whereas with "c'etait très romantique" we used imparfait. Aren't they both expressing an emotion so it should be imparfait for the first example instead of passe compose? Please help me out Thank you

Why is the plural "vos" used instead of votre? What part of this sentence is plural? I thought this was the formal "you" not plural

Ok, so "Comment cela se fait-il?" by itself is the formal way of saying "How come?"
"Comment cela se fait-il que..." is the formal way of saying "How come...?" but since it is redundant the cela is often dropped.
"Comment se fait-il?" is never said by itself.
Have I understood correctly?
I think the translation should be “charm your jury”, not “seduce your jury”, as the latter has a sexual meaning.
When to use étre and avoir?
The english translation seems same.
