When does one use the word "menage" to mean "household"? And when is "bizarre" the right word for "weird"
Hi, Kwiziq tells me "Le garçon rentre, les vêtements sales" = "The boy comes in, his clothes are dirty".
How would one say "The boy comes in, the clothes are dirty"? (For example, I imagine there are clothes lying around which, when the boy comes in, get stepped all over and made dirty.)
Why is "quinze heures et quart" wrong for 3.15 pm
Would it be possible to say je SERAI enfin la Reine during château at the end? If I'm feeling very positive that this will come about cf just imagining a theoretical case where it would? I understand conditional would then be required.
Hello,
Please can someone help me to understand how to conjugate verbs.
Thanks.
Mon amie fait ses propres bijoux.
Shouln't it be: Ma amie fait ses propres bijoux ?
I see that it refers to feminine friend, not masculine.
I didn't do as well as I had hoped yet for every response, I had portions of the phrase correct. I agree with the comments here that when the phrase is incorrect, you shouldn't respond with 'well done.' Also, it appears you are grading on the way you expect the answer to be; however, there are multiple ways to express the phrase and many of my answers were the alternative. Granted, the spelling was wrong and I missed some words but I understood how to express each phrase. I would profit from knowing what I need to work on vs 'well done.'
Bonjour,
I was doing this sentence and since there are two verbs croire and aller I know that you look at the second verb which is aller to determine whether to use peux or puisse and aller is Subjonctif so you use the puisse am I correct?
Maman, papa , croyez- vous que je_____ aller seule au concert samedi sour.
