"Moins le quart" is hardly perceptible.

In the bottom half of the quick lesson it says:

Did you leave out 'cela' between 'Comment' and 'se fait-il'?

The clues do not match the text. 

The notes state that Martin aime Sarah can say ´Martin loves Sarah’ but my answer was marked wrong, saying it should have been ´Martin aime bien Sarah’

A correction for the phrase "quand j'essaie de manger" changed my spelling "essaie" to "essaye" and I do not understand why. Thank you for your explanation.

This phrasing is not how a native English speaker would say this. I think “ Nantes was France’s best city for cycling” would be clearer. As is, it sounds like the city rides bikes.

According to Wordreference, they recommend the word, ombrelle, for the umbrellas found in cocktails.  Should this word be accepted?

I think I understand the basic concept here. Is there an easy way to remember which verbs are followed by à? The list is VERY long. 

In the sentence "Bien qu'il ne reste qu'une petite partie du pont aujourd'hui, elle offre encore une vue spectaculaire sur le Rhône et la ville." it seems le pont is masculine but in the second clause is is referred to as elle. Should this be il or am I missing something?
