After reading the lesson several times and reading the many q&a in the forum, I think I may finally understand the difference. Can you please tell me if I am correct? Attendre que + subjunctive clause is to wait for someone or something else to do something; however, s'attendre à ce que + subjunctive clause is different because the focus is on the personal opinion of the person doing the expecting. There is no opinion involved when using attendre que.
In the sentence: "Que tu l'admettes ou non, ce ne sont pas tes amis," why is "ce ne sont pas" used for "they're not" instead of "ils ne sont pas"? Thank you.
Bonjour,

Is the "ne" sound sometimes dropped in real spoken French?
Why is it not "les champignons pointent le bout de leurs nez" to make the possessive adjective plural? I have a French spelling guide that shows "reconnaitrais" with an accent circonflex over the first "i". Which is correct?
Jeudi, elle a un rendez-vous. -Tu veux dire ce jeudi ou ________ ?
A bit puzzled.. I answered this with le jeudi prochain and marked as incorrect.. wanted le jeudi d'après..but checking in Linguee.. it gives prochain in its examples.
This may be a stupid question but I'm confused by the position of 'le' in these two examples:
'Non, je ne le savais pas ' and 'Non, je ne sais pas le faire'
From looking at the first example I would have assumed the second sentence would be 'Je ne le sais pas faire' - please can you help?
