Bonjour Manpreet kaur,

tenter (being drawn to [sth)

Je suis tenté de quitter mon travail = I am tempted to leave my job

Attirer (being drawn by [sth])

Je suis attiré par le pouvoir = I am attracted to power

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Hi Manpreet kaur,

In the context of the piece, I would say that using the verb tenter is the most appropriate.

This gives the sense of being seduced rather than pushed to do something.

The strongest synonym of tenter seems to be séduire whereas for attirer, entraîner.
