The question was how would you write 78,005 in English. It didn’t say how do you write this decimal number. I wondered if it was but chose to go with thousands and not a decimal number because it was not specified.
So pour is only used to describe future intent? You can't use it to describe a habitual action? Like "Nous nous rejoignons pour une heure chaque semaine"?
Imaginez que je suis sur le parking et j'essaye de démarrer ma voiture mais quelqu'un vient et me pose une question: "ça votre voiture?
Moi, je dis, “à votre avis” ? Donc, ici, à votre avis, ça veut dire, “Qu’est-ce que vous pensez”. En anglais on dit, “What else do you think?” ç'est ça?
FYI: I know the meaning of " À votre avis "but that meaning doesn't fit well in the upper scenario.
Merci!
Why doesn't this lesson make any mention of feminine forms?
Où habites-tu? j'habite à Barcelone.
Why using ( en ) instead of (à ) in this sentence is incorrect?!
I think I may need a bigger dictionary! I am struggling to find the appropriate word. For example:
Le sol versus le plancher
imparable versus imbattable versus incomparable versus inégalable
évident versus manifeste.
Also the suggested answer "je vais faire une machine" seems to translate as "I'm going to make a machine"
Help !!
I was surprised to see « de la confiture de framboises » indicated as incorrect (the final 's' getting the red strikethrough), not as an acceptable alternative. Only the singular « framboise » was indicated as correct, although the question was raised a year ago and it was noted that either is acceptable.
The plural « framboises » is clearly not incorrect and should not be marked so. Otherwise, it looks like Bonne Maman et St Dalfour may need to change their labelling.

Which is correct?
Je me suis réveillée tard aujourd'hui ou
Je me suis réveillée en retard aujourd'hui ?
Please explain.
Parfois, je prends la voiture juste pour me promener dans la campagne.
