can we use the verbs which can be inverted with je in the future ?
For example devrai-je?(is this correct?)
Why is it « nouvel » and not « neuf » when the raincoat would be brand new from the store? I thought neuf is for new, never been used, and nouvel is for been used but still pretty new.
Hello,
When someone asks you if you can swim or you can cook how can you determine whether to use the verb pouvoir or connaitre vs savoir?
I have not learned about the last two verbs just yet as it is in A2 but I am familiar with them but very confused.
Can you help me?
Thanks
Nicole

I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. Am I supposed to try and read aloud along with it or just listen to it? And somehow, if I hit the pause button in not exactly the same place, I get 2 voices reading at the same time. And it doesn't rewind? I just have to listen straight through?
This exercise uses que in two places I don't understand. First, ¨Alors que je traversais un coin...¨ Second ¨J'ai attendu que la depanneuse arrive.¨ I think "alors que" means while. It seems the second usage should be "jusqu'á." I have never seen que used that way.
Why use "on" to say " we" drank, we took etc.
I think it would be really helpful to have english translations to understand what I'm listening to. Other than that, this is great thank you
I wonder if we can do the same before verbs starting by a vowel, because in this case n would change the sound a bit.
For example:
- Je n'aime pas de chiens
- J'aime pas de chiens
