Bonjour,
Can fois and multiplié be interchangeable?
I couldn't see the difference between them...
Merci beaucoup
Interesting. So why are there examples given wherein both actions take place in the future? Such as:
Après avoir fini ma dissertation, je commencerai mes révisions. After finishing my essay, I will start studying for my exam.
In the passage we have both
'du fait qu'il est le seul'
and
'le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de jeu'
and I wonder why one is indicative and one subjunctive?
thes dessert that she craves- why not que?
Vite is marked wrong. Pourquoi?
Hi. When practising the use of 'que', one of your examples runs 'Les fleurs que Paul sent.' and the translation is The flowers that/which Paul smells. As the present tense in English denotes habitual or regular doings, the present tense here implies that Paul smells them every day or often, which sounds a bit odd. I think the progressive form' is smelling' would give the correct meaning of ' Paul sent'.

Hki.
I see that les Lettres and just Lettres (without the 'les') are both accepted as correct answers but then further on the 'les' cannot be left off when used with 'Lettres Classiques'. Is there a rule governing this usage ?
Can 'suddenly' be translated as 'soudainement'? Reverso seems to think that there is such a word.
Thanks
