In the text "Thank you. Would you like store credit" The answer given translates to "coupon" and not store credit . Every where I searched converts "store credit" to Crédit du magasin.
Can u explain the agreement of past participle with the relative pronoun qui
Sometimes I barely begin a sentence when I must have hit a key accidentally which skips me to the following line, ie I cannot complete the last one. This time I was trying to type e for équipe (for team) in the second to last line, so it must have been a numbered key?
'N'y va pas' is translated as 'Don't go there', and ' Don't go anywhere' is marked wrong. Yet 'On y va' means 'Let's go' The 'there' is implicit. Surely 'N'y va pas' is the negative of 'On y va'? so ought to be translated as 'Don't go'. In English the 'there' makes it too definite, you would have to have a destination in mind, rather than just leaving somewhere. 'Anywhere' is a better translation, surely?
Salut! In the second last sentence, tarte is feminine, so why is it “LE goûter” and not LA goûter? I’m assuming the meaning of the sentence is “she invites some friends to taste it” or does it mean “the tasting”?
give me some examples of pronominal verbs in imperative negative
Voua allez au marché dans quelques minutes
One of the examples given here is "Mon stylo s'est cassé alors j'en ai acheté un autre".
It seems to me that "Mon stylo s'est cassé alors j'ai acheté un autre" would work just as well, because "un autre" implies "un stylo". So would the second version (i.e. without "en") be: a) OK; b) clumsy; or c) just plain wrong?
Thanks
