On a quiz, it says the answer is “le lendemain DU mariage” not DE mariage. Why? All the samples say DE.
So there were 2 questions, and this is how it went,
Le treize mars= the 13th March
Le quatorze juin= the 14th of June
And it told me that "the 13th of March" is incorrect. Is there a specific reason for that? Cause it seems like Le treize mars and Le quatorze juin have the same build..
too difficult!
Il y a des petites rues, et de jolies maisons blanches.
Hi, I saw the sentence above in a book.
Why it's not de petites rues ?!
I thought when we have an adjective that comes before a noun, we should use de ! like de jolies maisons
Help please.
Instead of saying, 'nous avons reste des predateurs', why couldn't we write, 'nous avons demure des predauteurs'?
I understand that the lesson is focusing on one skill but it would seem that if the student got the concept correct but used a different word that was correct, it should be accepted. (unless of course demurer should not have been used in this lesson instead of rester).
Thank you! I love Kwiziq (and I had sent an email previously about how some of the feedback from the lessons could be enhanced).
Are flâner and Le flâneur (to wander, wanderer) commonly used in conversation or are they more literary?
