I knew the answer to one of your test questions but because your application only offered three answers (and didn’t include the fourth correct one which was “sera” by the way) in the multiple choice options...well, obviously it didn’t grade me properly. This has happened before but I never complained. But could you look into it? Just check my most recent test (Être - Future Tense). Thanks. Valerie Oblath
Is there a specific reason that "beaucoup de" is not included in this lesson ?
It would be the term I would be most likely to use for "many".
Why is the Imparfait used here instead of the Passe Compose?
Cyril m'a dit que ton SMS disait dix-neuf heures ...
What's the meaning of this phrase, "enchaîné les apéritifs?"
"A series of drinks?" or perhaps even "a round?"
I recently read that someone (who is a native speaker and well-informed on grammar and usage) said that it is incorrect to say 'en arrivant à la maison' -- that is is 'en arrivant dans la maison'. While confirming that 'en arrivant au restaurant, ...au musée, ...au théâtre' etc. is correct, they claim that when saying 'arriving at home' the preposition 'dans' must be used. Can someone tell me if this is true, and if it is if it's just "because that's the way it is" or if there's some grammatical explanation? Thank you very much for your help!
Difference in meaning? Blesser (to hurt someone, injure someone) versus faire mal à quelqu'un?
Est-ce que la bilingue histoire est disponible, s'il vous plaît?
I was wondering why "j'irai finir" is used instead of "je vais finir." Is there a subtle difference in meaning between them? Thanks!
Why Lève-toi and not lèves-toi. All others follow the norm i.e. Levez-toi or Levons-toi. es is the correct ending for tu.
