I Have completed A1 & A2. While attempting for a test on this portal I am qualified to learn B1. I am interested to know how long it should take to complete the B1 level?
Many thanks in advance.
Why are certain words (like five billion) written in plural while other words (like two thousand) are written in singular?
The audio for “parce que je suis un peu âgé” starts with “car”, not “parce que”.
Bonjour à tous, je m'appelle minhaz.
I have started learning french which makes me a basic beginner in this language.
I have a question related to a sentence which is "it is good to laugh sometimes".
In french it is written as "C'est bon de rire parfois".
As I know that "to" is said as "à" in French.
My question is why it is not written as
C'est bon à rire parfois

Les deux loup garous regardèrent l´un l´autre longtemps, avant d'attaquer !
Why is this answer wrong? I understand we can use "se regarder", which is the accepted answer, but I don't understand why this other option is not accepted (it's from a dropdown where options both were present).
N'importe qui va pouvoir faire = anyone can do... How would this sentence be completed retaining the original wording?
Why is "He's thinking of her" - Il pense à elle instead of Il lui pense?
If someone were to ask the question "Pense-il a Marie?" Would the answer be "Oui, il lui pense."
Hello,
I like this website a lot. It has helped me with learning French. However I think that for this theme it would help a lot if we could see these words in sentences. Just the words does not suffice. It is impossible to see how one would use them. Could this be added?
