Hi,
I was doing a Kwiziq quiz and came across this question: "How could you ask "What is a fougasse?"
One of the answers I selected was: "Quelle est une fougasse ?"
Can someone explain why this isn't correct?
In all the above examples you use avoir + faire expres de, except on Elle fait exprès d'être en retard.
Could you please explain why it isn't better to say "elle a fait expres d'......"
hello madam/sir,
I have a question why here they used 'des' instead of 'de'? As we use des for plural, but here nothing is plural.
In paragraph 3 why does "j'avais" denote an obligation (to have to) instead of it being "je devais"?
the statement was just je....... rentre, as there was nothing(chez, dansetc) after rentre i used avoir but it was wrong, so why is there sometimes nothing after rentrer when used with etre?please
In the short video, the examples of a "le haricot" as an aspirated "H" and "l'hotel" as a silent "H" are given. I really cannot hear a difference. It seems to me that "Haricot" is pronounced as "aricot" without an unaspirated "H". The same for "La hache". At least, they are not pronounced as we pronounce an "H" in the English "Help" for example. So, that's what I am asking for, some "Help".
Bonjour Aurélie
I was doing an exercise that asked me to choose between pronom relatif simple or composé. I'm confused which one to use here.
La question........ j'aimerais une réponse est la suivante : où allons-nous ?
can I use que here?
Est-ce que les arts de la cuisine est aussi une possibilité ?
Hello,
Is there's a difference between "pour avoir fait" and "ayant fait"? If yes, when does one use which?
Thanks!
Jo
