Third-person singular female would be plus-que-parfait

Elle s'était arrêtée

and third-person plural female   --  Elles s'étaient arrêtées

and then you have introduced "on" as subject in your query?

What is "on" meant to express as subject?

I would like to help but am unclear just as to what your query is?

Even though Jim answered the query on the next post, I'd just as well put the answer here, too:

Elles s'étaient arêtées. -- They stopped.
On s'était arrêtées. -- We stopped (all female group).
