Mon tableau

The suggested answers to My favourite painting is called "The Sunflowers”, are

Mon tableau favori s'appelle "Les Tournesols” and Mon tableau préféré s'appelle "Les Tournesols”,... Presumably 'Ma painture' could be substituted for 'Mon tableau' ??

Tableau et peinture (note the spelling: with an "e") are almost synonyms and, in the context of this sentence you could use either.
