futur simple versus conditionnel

Could the futur simple be replaced with the conditionnel throughout most of this exercise and still make perfect sense as it would in english?

Hi Kingsley.

You would have a problem with the first sentence starting with the temporal marker 'quand'.

Here it indicates an action in the future and the verb in French in French has to in the future.

If it started with 'si' ( if) it would be a different story.

Si je devenais papa, je serais un père excellent, je gâterais mes enfants ...

Hope this helps!
