Confusion between á and de

La fille à qui je pense est belle. 
La fille à laquelle je pense est belle

Penser can be used with à or de and changes meaning slightly.

Je pense à Louise. -- I think of Louise. (To have thoughts about something/someone)
Qu'est-ce que tu penses de ce film? -- What do you think of this film (To have an opinion of something)

because the verb "penser" requires the à preposition. It's something to keep in mind and there is not really any explanation to that.
 - participer à
 

- etre habutué à 

- aider à 

These verbs all require the à preposition. You just need to remember
