When to pronounce the final "t" in compound numbers using "vingt"?

Hi, I am confused as to when to pronounce the t in vingt, for example, in vingt-deux, vingt-cinq? In some videos and sites I hear them pronounce it, in some I don't. So when do we exactly? Or are both acceptable?

There are regional differences in pronunciation. In the East, where my wife is from, the ‘t’ is usually pronounced in ‘vingt’, regardless of following word starting with vowel or consonant. I gather in other regions it may not be pronounced, except before a vowel.  From the link, you can see there is significant disagreement about the pronunciation :

If someone tells you there is only 1 correct pronunciation of words in French or English (probably in any language), they will very likely be wrong.
