I asked about this previously & the answer that was given was that both spellings were acceptable with the hyphenated spelling more widely used. But in the text of this lesson the first sentence uses "week-end" & the last sentence uses "weekend". At the very least wouldn't the convention be to use the same spelling throughout a composition unless directly quoting another written piece?
In this sentence "s'adressa à elle d'une voix languide" can it please be explained why the "De" in "D'une" is present?
And what is the difference between "Du moins" and "Au moins" ?
And in this sentence - "J'ai bien peur de ne pas pouvoir m'expliquer" why is "bien" necessary/needed?
Thank you!
I would like to know what the " l' " refers to in this sentence:
Seriez-vous partis si je vous l'avais demandé?
Would you have left if I had asked you?
I can only surmise that it means something like:
"Would you have left if I had asked it of you. "Come on guys, faire les magasins is as correct as faire le shopping. You admit this and, besides, you haven't made any distinction between the two options.
Bonjour!
I noticed that in the sentence une femme heureuse at des femmes heureuses that the es was not underline like the others were.
I was hoping if you could fix that and underline the es so it could help the reader whose reading it understand it better. It was 2x on the same page.

Why the use of the subjunctive in "un avenir qui nous plaise"?
Est-ce que créer un verbe transitif? (to create something)
Pourquoi y a-t-il un "de" apres "créer" dans la phrase?
Please can you tell me how do I find a list of verbs which are followed by a ( sorry don't know how to do an accent on this question section) so I know when to use Lui and Leur?
Thank you
I think the audio was too fast for me. Please make it a bit slow as I cannot understand.
Hope it will help me.
Thanks to Maarten and Alan, I had 4 responses all of which were marked as "select this as correct answer". There is ambiguity, and how do I resolve this as a learner. My reference was related to Cliffs Quick Review French 1 (ch3 under Articles). A definitive answer would be great!
