Last sentence - Why géante and not géantes?
I used “en retard pour le travail”. I knew it was wrong but did not think of an alternative. Is there a Lawless lesson that can help me with this construction?
Thank you!

For "Lake Geneva" the hint given was that in French it is "le lac Leman/le lac de Genève" but the answer had "Lac" capitalised - "ses vues époustouflantes du Lac Léman/ du Lac de Genève". So wondering whether it was the hint or the answer that was correct, or whether both forms are allowed. Thanks.

In this workbook I'm practicing in that I brought. I had to translate using inversion and vous if necessary. So the sentence was
When is she arriving in Nantes? I put Quand arrive -t-elle à Nantes but then their answer said I should've used à quelle heure.
Why should I use à quelle heure instead of quand when the question is asking when?
Thanks
NIcole
Hello. I think I misunderstood the rules about the using cent and cents.
"Cent" s'accorde uniquement s'il n'est suivi d'aucun chiffre.
Following this, I thought the above phrase should be "cinq cents élus". Did I understand it correctly ? Or is this rule outdated? Please enlighten me. Thanks.
