But when in my study plan quiz I answered:
‘Write "We're having a walk in Central Park": Nous ________ dans Central Park’ with (Nous) nous baladons (dans Central Park.) it was marked wrong.
I realise it’s informal but I can’t see anything in the question to suggest that informality would be in appropriate. What’s the problem? I checked the conjugation with Lawless French.
Hi, do you use « tant pis » as « never mind »? I’m asking, because it changes the sense of the phrase
Does it say 'la Saint Nicolas est célébré' with a masculine adjective because Nicolas is masculine ?
I did not see mention or explication of en also meaning to.
Can someone explain to me what is a standalone adjective and give a few examples please?
The link to the right of play for the completed exercise says ‘all related grammar and vocab.’ When I follow it, I do see all the grammar topics covered. I do not see a list of vocabulary for the exercise though. No problem to look up unfamiliar words, but it might be nice to just make a list since it’s on the link. I didn’t know the work echelle in this exercise. Thank you!
My understanding is that in French "menu" is the word for the chalkboard list of daily specials. And "carte" is the paper list of all the items that the restaurant can serve. I used "à la carte" in this exercise. I guess Kwiziq is not making that distinction in A1. Or, I am under a false impression.

Please explain why the verb compléter is spelled two different ways in the future tense. Are both versions OK? Thanks.
