Just that. Some questions have been around for over three years without an answer.

Can you say "je n'ai pas encore reçu" instead of "je n'ai toujours pas reçu"?

Also, can you say "il m'a fallu frapper à chaque porte"?

is quoi qui se passe instead of quoi qu'il arrive acceptable?

Thanks so much for letting us know about the Aubracs.  Most Americans no nothing about them.  Their courage and skill in working for the Resistance is inspiring.   On our Veterans Day, it is yet another story of the people who sacrificed much to overcome tyranny.   It is much appreciated! 

This might dive into various grammatical topics, but I can't seem to figure out what rules this sentence should follow:

Est-ce que c'est possible de réserver une table?
Est-il possible de réserver une table?

Which one is in this case grammatically correct and why? Could you both use them in different instances?

I was wondering if anéantir could be used in this context as a possible substitute for écraser.   Thanks.

la fin de la deuxième phrase - les termes que le Chancelier allemand Adolf Hitler LUI imposerait. 

 "LUI" parce que les termes seraient imposés au maréchal Pétain.          ou

"Y" parce que les termes seraient imposés à la France.    (...la France accepterait les termes que le Chancelier allemand Adolf Hitler y imposerait.)
