The verb 'bronzer' , 'se bronzer' ( to tan ) Hi,
I did yesterday's 'fill-in-the-blanks' exercise entitled, 'Un projet de voyage en famille' which consists of putting verbs au futur simple.
Kwiziq dinged me for writing, "Les filles se bronzeront à la plage pendant que je nagerai." Kwiziq wanted, "Les filles bronzeront à la plage ..." ; no 'se'.
When l checked dictionaries, l found that some included 'se bronzer' and some did not. Which is interesting. And, two key French dictionaries validated 'se bronzer' as being a valid option for 'to tan' : Le Dictionnaire de l'Académie française (online) and Larousse, https://www.larousse.fr
I wonder, might some consideration be given to adding 'se bronzer' to Kwiziq's database? Thanks.
Why is "elle va ne pas partir" wrong?
I was going to choose the right answer when I second guessed myself because of the "de". How would you say "I'm watching from beautiful hills"? What would "Je regarde à les belles collines" translate into, or is this sentence completely incorrect?
What is correct " tu achetes les chaussures" or " tu achetes des chaussures"
The sentence refers to buying a "region". To me, that implies a rather large estate with a fancy house and well-kept grounds. My dictionary gives 'terres' as the preferred choice over 'domaine' when referring to lands. Should this option not be added? If not, why is domaine preferred?
In the conditional phrase in the second sentence, we have "...si je ne voulais pas être père...". I have terrible hearing, but I thought I heard d'être père. I know that vouloir does not take a preposition to introduce an infinitive, so I was dubious. I certainly did not hear an elision of the 's' of pas with être. Are my ears deceiving me?

Cela m'a pris 2 heures mais j'en ai tiré beaucoup de belles phrases, et je a été surprise par le suite quand j’ai regardé mon horloge. Bien écrit. Amusant. Merci. : )
