It says here that 'my nose is small but their noses are big' is translated to 'Mon nez est petit, mais leurs nez sont gros' . Is there a certain reason why it is "gros" isntead of "grand" ? Or is it just an optional thing?
The idicated translation is "dish." In English, a dish can either be a plate on which food is placed or it can mean an entree. I suspect that the meaning of "plat" is the physical plate on which food is served. Can you verify?
Isn't the tu-form of aller "vas"?
En 2004, ________ de l'argent.1- En 2004, j'avais de l'argent.
2- En 2004, j'ai eu de l'argent.
What's the difference between 1 & 2 in meaning?
