I'd had an excellent evening, but it took me a good three days to recover from it! - Yes, me too, we'd had quite a bit to drink! By the way, that reminds me that Paul had lent me a thrilling book that I still have at home! - You haven't seen them again in all this time? - No, and as a result, I haven't been able to give it back to him yet! I absolutely must pop over to their place this week. Anyway. What about you, what's up since last time? - Oh, nothing special: we're still looking for a new flat [US: apartment], but we haven't seen anything interesting so far. And you? Weren't you supposed to have a job interview? - Yes! And I finally got the job I wanted! - Congratulations! I knew you'd get it!
