Hi Ann,

To me vrai , whether it is placed before or after ‘cuisine’ means ‘authentic’.

Are you thinking of the adjective ‘drôle ‘ which with story can mean ‘funny’  in

Une histoire drôle’

and

‘quite a story’  in ‘Une drôle d’histoire’?

Vrai = real / true (adjectives that change meaning according to position) I refer to this lesson

Why is it une vraie cuisine when vraie before the noun means "quite a" vs after the noun means "true"? Une vraie histoire= quite a story.
