Tu vas adorer

I know that she did not say Tu vas l'adorer but why didn't she? Is it an idiosyncratic expression that doesn't require an object?

In spoken French, particularly when it is clear what the reference is, the object pronoun is often omitted. This happens particularly with emotional expressions like adorer, aimer, détester, etc.

Tu aimes le théatre ? -- Oui, j'adore ! (instead of Oui, je l'adore).

To add to Chris' answer, John, you would not use 'le' as it doesn't refer to the orchard but to the overall experience so you could add 'ça' but it is implied here and unnecessary.
