Listening execices

Question

Hello,My listening is crappy, as I simply cannot understand what is being said even when I know some words.... Pls any tips on how to improve my comprehension in listening?

Bonjour Sarah,
What William and Charlene have suggested is great. The more you listen to authentic recordings, being the radio, TV etc, the better your listening skills will get. Don't give up!

My advice is: listen a few times without the text ; then listen again and make notes of words you can hear clearly ; finally, listen with the text and compare anything you wrote down. 
It will come. Sometimes it takes a bit more of practice.

Hey I was an A0 listener as well. And I listened more that has really helped. Do more exercises that need you to listen. Also listen to podcasts called "slow in French"

Est-ce que tu aimes les actualités ? Moi, j'écoute dix minutes de RFI chaque jour.  Quand j'ai commencé, je n'ai compris presque rien, mais avec le temps, aujourd'hui je comprends tout ce qu'ils disent, au moins, ceux qui parlent avec un accent parisien !
