What would be the easiest way to remember how to use the inversion with the verb first and the Qu'est ce que etc?Thank you in advance

Bonjour Nicole,
Unfortunately, there isn’t a trick to remember the inversion of the verb when asking questions. Practising exercises on forming questions is your best bet. And you’ll get it!

Regarding “qu’est-ce que…?”, it is never followed by the inverted form when using subject pronouns. See link (end of lesson): questions-starting-with-que-to-ask-what

Qu’est-ce que tu manges ? = What do you eat?
Qu’est-ce que vous pensez ? = What do you think?
