Gift voucher

I am a little confused with the section 'gift you a 15 euro voucher'; in English we would say give you a 15 euro gift voucher, which then seems to translate more literally into the french equivalent in the text. Why has it be phrased gift you a ...?

Bonjour Glen,

Both "gift you a voucher" and "give you a gift voucher" are acceptable in English, but the latter feels somewhat redundant with give/gift. Also, the French verb offrir has a nuance of offering a gift specifically, rather than just giving something.
