Hi, why does “the que before the penser” (b) & (c) become “a quoi after the penser” (a)?
(a) “Et vous, vous pensez QUOI des selfies ?”
(b) “Et vous, QUE pensez-vous des selfies ?”
(c) “Et vous, QU'est-ce que vous pensez des selfies ?”

puis j'irais en Arizona (from fill in the blanks). As I learned from other sources all US states are masculine but 9: la Californie, la Caroline du Nord, la Caroline du Sud, la Floride, la Géorgie, la Louisiane, la Pennsylvanie, la Virginie, la Virginie occidentale. So, Arizona is not feminine ? So shouldn't it be à l'Arizona?
Hi, I really enjoyed this exercise but want clarification on the sentence "Elle était en larmes !"
I would assume that this action was a one-off, not a continual state, so I used the passé compose (Elle a été).
Is it because the sentences prior all used the imparfait?
Thanks

When referring to a single person of unknown gender, is it correct to use le/la leur, or is that a situation where theirs should be translated as le sien/la sienne?
E.g Would "Someone has forgotten their wallet. Don't take it! It's theirs." translate to "Quelqu'un a oublié leur portefeuille. Ne le prends pas! C'est le leur." ou "Quelqu'un a oublié son portefeuille. Ne le prends pas! C'est le sien."
Bonjour,

Merci
