Why is it "Mes fils ont toujours adoré cette tradition" ? If the tradition is ongoing with no start and finish should not the 'imparfait' be used here?
Hey,
I am. not sure if its ok to post this here. But I noticed that in the lesson on reflexive pronouns.. it says -en nous endoromons, nous (for present participle)
Shouldn't it be -En nous endormant, nous..... What am I missing?
Not that it necessarily requires a separate lesson, as it follows the same pattern as most of the other verbs, but perhaps 'tomber' should also be on the list of dual auxiliary verbs - être in intransitive form, avoir in transitive form.

Hi all. Can someone advise me as to when one uses ça as 'it' rather than le, la, l' eg. je le déteste or je déteste ça? I have just done an exercise where the latter was used for 'I hate it', I would have used 'le'. I can understand it being used for I hate 'that' but here it was used for 'it'. Thanks in advance/ merci en avance, Kevin
