How come there is elision for "Je suis austrailen" but no elision for "Je suis australienne"?
It is a lady speaking, so should not the past participle of the reflexive verb se faire agree in gender?
Im just a bit confused since, i am trying to learn french and on the 7th or 8th question, it said hand sanitizer is gel hydracoolique, but ive never heard such a word! I dont know, im just a bit confused since, for new people at french, this word (i dont think) shouldn't be used, since i am getting better and better each day, but again, ive never heard this word, nor seen it, for that matter. I dont want to be a pain, but i think this shouldn't be used.
I got a question wrong, with more than one fault:
Nous nous sommes brossé les cheveux was given as the correct answer, but isn't "brossés" the correct form of the past participle in this sentence?
Léo vient à trottinette.
Léo vient en trottinette.
Both are correct?
Je vais aller à l'épicerie. - this was marked wrong because the answer should be without aller, but is it grammartically wrong or just not what the answer asking for?
I am not an astronomer but I believe the correct term for describing earth's movement around the sun is not "rotation" but "revolution." I think it would be correct to say,
"...en fait, la révolution de la Terre autour du Soleil dure quelques heures de plus chaque année."
