La peur v. une peur

LA peur is a general state, whilst UNE peur is a particular fear, such as fear of spiders. It might be valuable to point this out in the lesson. I just today discovered this wrinkle.

Le Robert versus itself.............

Le Robert on line gives two examples of "de peur que" - one with and one w/o ne expletif. I'll think that in another lesson on your site, you do not recommend using ne with de peur que

I’m vs kilometresI was marked “almost right” when I used ‘kilometres’ instead of ‘km’.  Do you always abbreviate distances?

In an earlier exercise you have 'Je chapeau bleu at one jute bleu'. why was 'jute blue' not feminised or is it assumed that woman do not wear hats?

Regular -ir conjugationSince verbs ending in -mir are conjugated differently than those ending in -ir, it would be useful to be able to see easily how regular -ir verbs are conjugated to compare them. Maybe a link to that lesson?

Avant de I see in the lesson example you say avant que je n aille chez Paula. Would it be better to say avant d aller chez Paula

Why peut-etre que?I am doing an exercise called "My post-university plans."  I am asked to translate from English to French "Maybe I'll be able to spend some time ...." I wrote "Peut-etre je pourrai passer les temps..."  The answer was "Peut-etre que je pourrai..."  My question is why the "que" after peut-etre?  Thank you.

"and just as in English, you would never say "I'm going to my home""

I think saying "never" here is incorrect. I can think of situations when I might say this.

I'm confused. I understand that 'j'ai peur q'il ne vienne' means I fear he will come' but how do you say 'I fear he will NOT come
