Why is there a 'le' in 'que tu le veuilles' instead of just 'que tu veuilles'

Why is there a 'le' between 'tu' and veuilles in this sentence 'C'est comme ça, que tu le veuilles ou pas' instead of just que tu veuilles.

Hi James,

The answer is in the following lesson -

Using neuter pronouns le or l' to refer to previously mentioned ideas (French Direct Object Pronouns)

Bonne Continuation !

The English translation should be “ You'll come, whether you want to or not!” IMHO, rather than the literal translation of le as it.
