Which one is correct?

-Il s'agissait de la correspondance qu'avaient

-Il s'agissait de la correspondance qu'avait

Thank you for pointing this typo out G, it has now been corrected -

...qu'avaient entretenue mes grands-parents

as the verb agrees with grands-parents.
