verbs after a question with 'qui'

why is the verb after qui "vient" and "fait"? I don't get that, sorry.

And how would I know to use other verbs the same way?

Hi Keira,

Just as in English, the verb after the question word 'who ?' is in the third person singular.

Who does/is doing?

Who comes/is coming?

Who takes/is taking ...?

If you are not familiar with the idea of conjugating a verb, take a look at the following page -

Hope this helps!

Qui fait ça? -- Who does that?

Just as Alan said, the verbs venir and faire are vient and fait in 3rd person singular.
