Pouquoi "de" il essaie de parler français
USE OF DE

essayer de (verb infinitive)- to try to ("verb"). Hence «essayer de parler» - 'to try to speak' . . . . Some French verbs require prepositions à or de before nouns or infinitives - this does not (specifically) follow English use of prepositions, so has to be learnt while practising with the verbs.
