the "que" is not heard well

Question

In this sentence, the "que" is not heard well, it sounds like "tous"It seems to be lost in the liasion?je récupérais les vêtements que les gens oubliaient parfois dans un sèche-linge.

Hi Dragana,
 I have listened to the passage which to me is very slow and very clear. 
I hear the 'que' clearly and as there are no possible liaisons around the word I am not sure what you mean.
Maybe other users could check and give their opinion?

I agree with Dragana that the 'que' sounds like tous, but que makes sense grammatically here so I went with that.

I agree with Dragana, the “que” syllable is truncated and/or distorted. It sounds like “t”.
