I find that in many of the lessons, the synonyms are often not taken as an alternative. For example "des fois" was not taken as correct for "sometimes". Another example, "cueillir" was marked wrong for "picking", and an alternative "ramasser" was suggested as a correct answer. I'd suggest to expand the choices of synonyms.

Hi Taras,
Just to add to Jim's excellent answer -
on cueille des fleurs = you pick flowers
on ramasse des châtaignes et des marrons = you pick up chesnuts and conkers ( from the floor)
As for 'des fois', it is not accepted as 'good' French although I must admit I say it all the time!
Hi Taras,
The text of the lesson does mention picking up chestnuts but a basket was carried suggesting the point was to gather items rather than selecting individual pieces.
This is why I think that "ramasser" would be more appropriate in the sense of "collecter".
"des fois" does relate to "sometimes" but I believe more familier than "quelquefois" or "parfois"
This is my sense as to why your selections were not accepted although not wrong -- but it is always a matter of context as to the most appropriate word selection.
Hope this helps.
Bonne journée
Jim
