Struggle = am confused

Can someone help? I learnt what I thought was a beautiful French expression with 'comprendre' which meant basically "I am confused".  It woud be in a form like "I am confused please explain it to me more".. with the verb comprendre.

This lesson reminded me of it but I cannot recall the precise syntax now! Anyone?  Thanks!

Hi Jameson,

Like Jim, I think of

Je n'y comprends rien = I dont get it

or

Je ne comprends pas bien I am not quite sure I get it

but neither would translate as 'I am confused'

Hi Jameson,

Is this what you are looking for?

C'est à n'y rien comprendre

Thanks for the answers. They are of course all super but I am not sure any fits my partial recall. Jim's answer is 'idiomatic' looking enough to come  very close because it is not negating comprendre...and seems so very french.
