son, sa ses

son, sa ses

I am unclear why in the test question - Chacun a  .... faute, the correct answer is "son". Faute is a feminine noun so why isn't "sa" correct?

Hi Kay,

I have checked the test question in that lesson and the French uses the word 'défaut' (masculine) and not 'faute' ( feminine) so the pronoun 'son' is correct -

Chacun a son défaut = Each one has their  fault

Bonne Continuation!

Best to report this directly through report issue connected to the quiz, as it should be «Chacun a sa faute».
