Singapour - article ou non?

My understanding is that countries like Singapore, which are counted as city-states, are without an article? So I can say Je veins de Singapour?

Hi Jing,

There's no article with Singapour, just like Hong Kong so it would be -

Je viens de Singapour

Je viens de Hong Kong
