Se passer -

Shouldn’t it be …. Mais où s’est passée Lola?

( but what has happened to Lola) instead of mais où est passés Lola?

Hi Manpreet Kaur,

If you take a look at the following Kwiziq lesson you will see that the verb 'se passer' is to happen but it applies to events-

Passer, se passer, se passer de (different meanings of 'passer')

Here,

Where did Lola go? = Où est passée Lola ?

If you wanted to say -

What happened to Lola?

you would use the verb 'arriver à quelqu'un' :

Qu'est-il arrivé à Lola ?

Bonne Continuation!

Isn't the sentence "But where has Lola gone?" and not "What happened to Lola?"

Where has Lola gone? -- Où est passée Lola.
What happened to Lola? -- Qu'est-ce qui est arrivé à Lola?

Se passer -

Shouldn’t it be …. Mais où s’est passée Lola?

( but what has happened to Lola) instead of mais où est passés Lola?
