Bonjour Robert,

Maarten is correct! "Ressortir" has two different conjugations depending on its meaning.

In our lesson, "ressortir" refers to "to go out again" (as described in the lesson) and will be conjuated as "partir".

Il ressors de la maison. = He goes out of the house again.

When "ressortir" means "to fall withing the merit of" / "to come under the authority of" (i.e. a legal context), then it is conjugated as "choisir" - Conjugate regular -ir verbs in the present tense in French (Le Présent). This usage is far less common.

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

They are all (partly) correct.

Interesting verb with 2 distinct conjugations depending on meaning/usage. The irregular conjugation (as referred to in the lesson here) is the more common everyday usage of the verb.

Collins appears to have the conjugation incorrectly listed as being the same for the 4 primary definitions it gives, and only refers to the ‘regular’ conjugation form.
