Bonjour et merci pour ce beaux exercise. Deux petits comments: En anglais vous avez ecrit "choose", qui et le present; vous voulez surement "chose", qui et le passe simple. :) Et une librarie et une bibliotheque ne sont pas la meme chose, oui? Merci ! Pardon le manque des accents.

I think the English should actually be ‘could choose’ books - would go so I could choose.

No, librairie and bibliothèque are not the same.

Librairie refers to a book shop, never to a ‘library’.

‘A library’ is ‘une bibliothèque’

(As an aside, regional difference maybe but ‘owe to her to now be working for ...’ sounds quite ‘formal’ in my part of the world. More likely to hear ‘owe it to her that I’m working for…’. or …’that I’m now working for..’, but not ‘ owe to her to be now working for ‘…

Sounds like an English script written to match the French translation that was wanted or expected to me).
