Bonjour Owen,
I'm going to transfer your query directly to the Helpdesk. And I will get in touch via email.
Also, Maarten is right that this sort of question is best reported via the Helpdesk using the "Report it" button via your Correction board. ;-)
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !

Better to use the report button directly from the quiz - if this is a fault, it is a technical error that can be addressed by support.

They still haven't fixed this. It took me turning on screen recording to figure out what was happening.
First, the workaround is to do the quizzes from bottom to top and it won't happen anymore.
Secondly, it won't happen if never take focus off the browser because it only changes your answer when you bring focus back to the browser you are taking the quiz on.
Explanation: When you have dropdown type answers aligned over each other and sequential (1&2, 5&6, etc.) and after answering the first, if you move out of your browser to another application or separate browser instance, when you come back to your quiz it opens the previous dropdown and changes the answer to whatever would line up under your pointer when bringing focus back to the quiz.
People have complained about this for a long time, I don't see them fixing it so either of the suggestions above will stop it from happening. Of course, you could also just watch for it to happen every time you change focus but that doesn't work for me when I'm concentrating on the quiz so I just started doing all my quizzes from bottom to top, number 10 through number 1.

I'm sorry I didn't help you sooner, I know how frustrating it is.
