list of verbs that require an indirect object pronoun
Bonjour!
Would the verb mettre & other verbs containing mettre (admettre; promettre etc), all require an indirect object pronoun instead of a direct object pronoun, please? Reason being that these verbs are followed by the preposition à.
(I'm trying to make a list of all verbs that require an indirect object pronoun: "to him/her"; "to them")

Bonjour Cheryl, Here is the link to the lesson for Indirect Object pronouns: and here is the link for Direct Object pronouns.
Here are two more links about direct and indirect pronouns from another resource: https://www.laits.utexas.edu/tex/gr/pro5.html
http://laits.utexas.edu/tex/gr/pro8.html
And still another explanation site for intransitive verbs, those that require an indirect object and which was posted by Laura.
Bonne chance!
