I think "le jeudi prochain" means 'next Thursday' and "le jeudi d'après" means 'following Thursday'. Since the question is 'following Thursday' the answer "le jeudi après" appears to be appropriate in the above context. Ron, I may be subjected to correction as this is my understanding as learner.

Merci, Pas de problème. The way I read the question; however, is this. Assumption that the day of discussion is Wednesday (mercredi) «tu veux me dire ce jeudi (i.e. tomorrow) ou «le jeudi prochain» i.e. the following Thursday. Either way, to me both would be correct including «le jeudi suivant». But this would only hold if the discussion was one to two days prior to «ce jeudi». It seems to be contextual, i.e. depends on the context of the time and place of the discussion relative to which «jeudi». Bonne chance et merci encore.
